The Trion GX-7 is a blend of smoothness and strength. It comes with an instant anti reverse and a clutch bearing which is one way and provides instant hooksets.

Each reel comes equipped with a sure click bail which is a drag system that is smooth. This drag system has oiled felt washers and is made of stainless steel. It also has an audible drag adjustment and titanium bearing line roller made of titanium and of a large diameter that avoids twisting of the fishing line.
The aluminium spool is anodised and the spool lip is made of titanium that provides increased line protection. The main shaft of the reels are corrosion resistant and of stainless steel. Also present is a handle made of machined aluminium with a rosewood knob. The engineers have included a spare aluminium spool as well.
