Daiwa Saltiga Saltwater Spinning Reel review
From the house of Daiwa come another series of spinning reels called the Daiwa Saltiga Spinning Reel Series. This series has been designed to be the ultimate offshore threadline with optimum performance and minimal maintenance. Simple design with minimal parts and doing without features that are reputed to break down have helped achieve this. This series introduces gearing that is the strongest in the world.
The Hyper Digigear that is made of C6191 marine bronze that has been digitally cut for incredible strength and perfect meshing. This gear design is backed up by the strongest of drag systems that is available today. The multi disc hyper tournament wet drag system is sealed for protection and performance and can emanate upwards an amazing 30 kilos of pressure easily. Among all these great features the Saltiga uses Real Four technology, ABS Spool and TwistBuster II.It also has an extra large size line roller. It has Airbail and a sealed gear box along with an easily washable construction. It comes with a 5 year warranty and has a zero friction main shaft.
